HIV Testing Services are offered by LifeLine/ChildLine Namibia under the Namibia Adherence and Retention Project (NARP) with funding from USAID through Project Hope Namibia. It continues to support community settings in Kavango East & West, Ohangwena and Khomas Regional areas as these areas are listed amongst seven HIV high burden regions in Namibia. The program focuses on HIV Counselling and Testing for individuals at elevated risks of HIV and the mobile unit provides increasing access to these services. Newly diagnosed individuals are assisted to receive treatment and HIV Counsellors follow-up on a regular basis. The project in its design identifies and follows positive patients to ensure that they adhere to and are retained on treatment.
